President, Kimberly Alduante
Kimberly Aldunte, is a senior studying Public Relations Advertising and Applied Communication (PRAAC) with a concentration in social media and e-marketing analytics. Along with being our PRSSA Chapter President since 2019, Kimberly serves as the Tri-State District Ambassador for PRSSA National; assisting 10 chapters in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. She also serves on the Diversity and Inclusion PRoud Council Committee for PRSSA National creating events and initiatives for over 9,000 students.
She has experience in social media, influencer relations, events, sponsorships, design and blogging and currently works as a social media manager and influencer relations for Eleven10 Agency. Her prior experiences include working for Miami Super Bowl LIV, Joe DiMaggio Children Hospital, Univision, and hospitality and entertainment pr firms.
Vice President, Kristy Galarza
Kristy Galarza is a Senior majoring in Public Relations, Advertising, & Applied Communications (PRAAC). Her strong passion for the beauty industry is demonstrated in her history of working in social media, influencer marketing, and the communications industry. She was a former social media intern for Eleven10Agency where she worked on multiple accounts creating content, brand relevance and target audience management. This experience led her to her current internship position at Alamar Cosmetics- A Latina-owned and operated beauty brand based in Miami, FL. She serves as their Social Media & Influencer Relations manager and executes social media and influencer campaigns, monitors brand growth, and creates brand awareness through innovative ideas.

Director of Marketing, Viviana Nunes
Viviana Nunes, is currently a senior studying Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communications (PRAAC) with a minor in social media and e-marketing. Viviana is an International student from Venezuela and a transfer student from Miami Dade College where she completed her AA degree in Mass Communication and Journalism.
Currently, she works at FIU One Card, and is doing an internship as a publicist with BOLD FIU. Viviana is also a member of the Lambda Pi Eta (LPH) and TAP Ambassador program. Here at FIU PRSSA, she creates marketing campaigns for all social media platforms. Herhobbies and interests include dancing, exploring new places to eat, photographing and traveling. Her favorite social media sites are Pinterest and Instagram.

Director of Digital Media, Jessica Fernandez
Jessica Fernandez is a senior at majoring in Digital Communications and Media with a minor in social media and e-marketing analytics. As Director of Digital Media, she is in charge of creating graphics that are posted on FIU PRSSA’s social media accounts. Apart from FIU PRSSA, Jessica is also a graphic design intern at BOLD FIU, a student-run communications agency, where she works as part of the creative team making social media post templates, logos, and animations for a variety of clients/ accounts such as FIU Theater and FIU GSC.

Director of Membership, Claudia Hernandez
Claudia Hernández is an International Student from Lima, Peru, majoring in Public Relations, Advertising & Applied Communications, and minoring in General Marketing. Claudia loves to be involved on-campus and currently serves as an FIU Student Ambassador, Board Member for the Panther Community Action Board, SLP Ambassador for StartUP FIU, and the Director of Membership for PRSSA. She is also the former Social Media Director of FIU’s Student Government Association. Claudia is part of the Honors College at FIU and currently has 3 internships with: Friends of The Underline, Universal Latin Entertainment and BOLD FIU. Though she considers her work her hobby, she loves to visit new restaurants in Miami, take pictures, and write for her blog (instagram.com/writingclaud_) during her leisure time.

Director of Internal Communications, Jeanelle Mencias
Jeanelle Mencias is an international graduate student pursuing her master’s degree in Global Strategic Communication via FIU’s Online Program and also holds her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of South Florida.
In Belize, Jeanelle is the senior information officer at the Government Press Office, where she has worked for the last nine years and leads a team of five to promote the work of the Government. Her tasks include overseeing public relations, social media and event logistics for the Office of the Prime Minister, governmental ministries and departments.
In addition to her work at the Press Office, she has gained tons of experience in leadership and public relations as the licensee and a co-organizer of Belize’s first-ever TEDx events. She has also worked with countless local organizations by providing guidance on public relations, branding and marketing. She has also written for the local publication, Caribbean Lifestyle and Culture - Belize, and has interned with the Belize Audubon Society, the Belize Electricity Limited and the Belize Tourism Board.
Jeanelle enjoys reading, travel, photography and music.
Director of Diversity and Inclusion- Morganne Stephenson
Morganne Stephenson is a student from Jamaica majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Hospitality- Travel and Tourism Management. As a junior, at FIU, she spends her time actively participating in multiple clubs and organizations including BOLD FIU where she is currently gaining experience as an Account Publicist for an external account. Her love for planning events and executing strategies also pushed her to become the Vice President of Programming for FIU Student Ambassadors. She was recently selected for the FINN Partners- Partners in Diversity: Internship Preview Program where she is eagerly delving into the Hospitality industry with the assistance of a mentor.
After obtaining her degree, Morganne’s goal is to work in the tourism sector of the PR industry here in South Florida and eventually for the Tourism Board of her home country, Jamaica. Finance & Fundraiser Director
Process payments and keep a record of purchases.
Oversee bank account finances and funds.
Prepare budget and provide financial reports when needed.
Assist Events to plan, organize and execute events to raise funds for the organization.
Plan and execute events each semester, including fundraisers, workshops, social mixers, etc.
Develop a strategy to gain more sponsorship and promote recruitment.
Collaborate with the Director of Public Relations to organize and execute agency tours, trips, and other events.
Collaborate with Social Media to promote PRSSA functions.
Social Media Coordinator
Create and maintain content on all social media platforms.
Must be able to work with: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Create a social media calendar and develop a social media strategy.
Maintain members engaged and maintain the cohesive Instagram feed.
Create promotional material (flyers, brochures, etc.) when necessary.
Keep track of social media analytics including growth, likes, etc.
