What is PRSSA Pillars?

PRSSA Pillars is a donor‑driven initiative at one of Florida’s top universities, Florida International University. It supports PRSSA, the nation’s leading organization for students pursuing public relations and communications. The program offers donors a direct way to invest in future public relations leaders. Contributions fund educational experiences, professional development, real‑world opportunities, and stronger ties between the industry and academia. Support goes toward mentorship, workshops, conferences, and hands-on learning. Donors receive recognition as PRSSA Pillars, increased visibility, and a meaningful connection to emerging PR talent.

Tiers

TIER 3 : Gold

TIER 2 : Silver

TIER 1 : Bronze

All Bronze and Silver Tier Benefits: Includes all recognition, PR features, and event participation opportunities from Tiers 1 and 2.

Direct Material Distribution: Ability to distribute personal materials (such as merch, pamphlets, brochures, recruitment information, or digital documents) directly to PRSSA members, or receive logo/name placement in PRSSA digital materials or event programs.

Personalized PR & Marketing Advertisements: Customized promotional placements with links or redirections to your company pages on the PRSSA FIU website and social media, to support with visibility.

All Bronze Tier Benefits: Includes all recognition and visibility elements from Tier 1.

PR News Story or Spotlight Feature: A feature across the PRSSA FIU website and social media showcasing your bio, mission, company overview, services, or opportunities.

Participation in PR‑Focused Events: Sponsors may be invited to join PRSSA programming, liaison activities, or community‑impact events as subject‑matter contributors when appropriate.

PR Donor Recognition: Featured in PRSSA FIU website within the PRSSA Pillars page, highlighting your support of student advancement.
PR Impact Report: Recognized through semester report which publicly credits donors for their contributions to PRSSA’s mission and programming.

Social Media Appreciation: Thank‑you acknowledgement shared on Instagram and LinkedIn to reinforce visibility within the FIU, PRSA, and PRSSA communities.
